Saurabh Bangar is pursing a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University (SFU) with a concentration in operations management, entrepreneurship, and innovation. He is a graduate from the School of Construction and the Environment at the the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). Saurabh has also attended Langara College, Pacific Vocational College, and Queen Elizabeth Secondary School. Saurabh aspires to attend the Harvard Business School and become a serial entrepreneur.
Saurabh is the Founder and CEO of SOAR Philanthropic Society, where the organization focuses on providing students scholarships, leadership conferences, and many other opportunities to be engaged within the community. He is also the Co-Founder of Tap+, which is an app company currently being developed. The organization eliminates consumers pulling their phones out to exchange contact information, as they can simply tap their phones to exchange information.
He also serves as an Executive with the South Asian Alliance Vancouver (SAAV) on their Leadership, External Operations, and Internal Relations committee. Mr. Bangar had the opportunity to spend many years with the City of Surrey youth council committees as an Executive. His work with the city involved creating a stronger diversified community for the youth by organizing and managing public youth events.
He enjoys actively being involved in the community and providing many opportunities for the youth to be engaged in. He has been recognized as a Top 25 Under 25 recipient for his invovlement in the community. The City of Richmond recognized Saurabh with the Asset Champion Award for being one of their top 30 innovators, leaders, and mentors.
